Sivakumar Charitable Trust as a part of their servicing deed distributed scholarship worth Rs. 3Lakhs to the toppers who excelled in Plus 2 and 10th Government Public Exams.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivakumar stated that his charitable Trust’s main concern is go to the aid of needy students who would brighten the future of India.
Speaking to the students, he advised to respect their parents and lead a happy life working for the good purpose and helping each other around them.
Actor Suriya (Sivakumar’s son), co-ordinator of the trust, was also present there for the occasion to congratulate the students…
Rs 10,000 was provided to three students of Little Flower Convent and a sum of Rs. Two lakhs was given as aid for Thai Thamizh Primary School in Tindivanam.

SharathKumar daughter Varalakshmi is ready to launch as actress in Kollywood industry
The flamboyant Sharat Kumar is busy with his serious preparations to get into politics, but at home, his elder daughter, Varalakshmi is all set to make her film debut. Her choice of film however has raised a few eyebrows. The trouble-prone Simbu is now getting ready to launch yet another new film of his. He had been accepting quite a number of offers in recent past, but none of the films has hit the theatres.There was one which was almost complete, but he ended up creating some misunderstanding with the heroine and has now forced the producer to bring in a new one and is now reshooting more than 40% of the film again with the new heroine!
This time, he has accepted the offer to star in a film named ‘Poodaa Poodi’.
It is in this film that Varalakshmi is going to make her debut in. the film’s director had first approached Sharat Kumar to get his consent. He said that he had no objections if his daughter was willing.
The title might not be the final one as its still not sure if they will use the title Thiru Pooda and Thirumathi Poodi. Another possible title is Mr Poda Mrs Podi.

Bollywood stunning beauty Katrina Kaif asked for as her birthday present than being featured on the cover of the world’s costliest lifestyle magazine!
It is reliably learnt that Katrina features on the cover of Damas designed ’Kohl’, the newly-launched Lifestyle magazine.
It has partnered with leading UAE-based jeweller Damas to create the world’s most expensive magazine. It is Covered in 91 grams of gold and encrusted with 622 diamonds, the special edition front cover, valued at more than US$ 10,000 will be auctioned for the Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre in October 2008.
In order to create the gold edition of Kohl, Damas craftsmen took more than 86 hours to hand-apply layers of gold leaf to a specially-treated edition of the original magazine. This master piece unique magazine was exposed to the world at a press conference on June 24.
Kats who is already basking in the glory of being in the top league after delivering back-to-back hits in Bollywood is surely on cloud nine.
Recently she was tagged as the ’Sexiest woman in the world’ in a poll conducted by London’s FHM magazine. With all the good things in life pointing towards Katrina it seems there’s no stopping for the lass.

‘Kuthu Ramya’ of Kollywood made her re-rentry into tamil films as Divya photo Gallery
Actress Divya Spandana, who was intially known as Kuthu Ramya is a popular actress in Kollywood. She is now busy shooting for Gautham Menon’s “Varanam Aayiram” opposite Surya.

Telugu cinema Ileana has been roped in to act in Sultan The Warrior
According to reports The flavor of Telugu cinema Ileana has been roped in to act in Sultan The Warrior. Sultan The Warrior is an animated film featuring Rajinikanth and being directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya.
The movie is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios. A R Rahman is scoring the music.
Sultan The Warrior is expected to release in April 2008.

Bharath and Tammana going to be happening pairs in next kollywood moview
Finally the remake of the romantic smash hit Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor- Kareena Kapoor was earlier to feature Dhanush and Trisha. But once Dhanush lost interest in doing the project, Trisha too opted out.
Moserbaer who had purchased the Tamil remake rights was left high and dry. But now things have turned around as sources close to Bharath has confirmed that he will be doing the film. It is almost certain that Tamannaah would be doing the crucial role done by Kareena in the original.
Bharath after the colossal failure of Munniyandi Vilangiyal Moondrammandu, knows that as an action hero he has his limitations. He also knows that he needs a hit badly, and the best way out is to do a romantic remake which normally works.
The smart guy that he is, Bharath has gone out of his way to give priority dates for the Jab We Met remake which will start in September, once he completes Hari's Seval. It looks like Suresh Krishna's Aarumugham has been put on the backburner.
